Soltura Online is a gathering place for individuals interested in personal growth and improving their quality of life. We are always looking for articles, news, books, music and other resources to assist individuals in self-discovery and personal growth — and we want to share them with you. We also want to keep the Soltura community up-to-date on our new developments and share resources that will contribute to your continued journey.
Soltura provides personal growth workshops for men and women, adults and young people. Our participants range from people who are struggling with a new challenge in their life to folks who realize their life is not as fullfilling as they had envisioned it. We strive to help participants reconnect with their inner strengths, face life issues and find meaningful ways to move forward. Carole Rosenberg, Stephen Buckley and Lane Kingsbery represented Soltura Foundation at the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) annual conference conducted in Austin, TX on January 29-31, 2009. NATSAP serves as a national resource for programs and professionals assisting young people beleaguered by emotional and behavioral difficulties. Member programs include therapeutic schools, residential treatment programs, wilderness programs, outdoor therapeutic programs, young adult programs and home-based residential programs. The conference provided Soltura representatives with an opportunity to renew relationships with other professionals engaged in the therapeutic program industry and spread the word about the wonderful work being done in Soltura workshops. Their networking was focused on educating therapeutic programs about how Soltura workshops may benefit the parents of young people in their care.
